Carrot and Apple Salad/Selada Bortel

1 Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into quarters
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. canola oil
1 tsp. sugar
3 large carrots, washed and peeled
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper

1. Using a cheese grater, grate apple,including the skin, into a medium bowl.Sprinkle with lemon juice and use your hands to combine thoroughly.
2. Add oil and sugar to grated apple.
3. Grate carrots over a medium bowl. Add grated carrots, salt, and pepperto apple mixture. Mix.
4. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.


Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serves 6
